Two Slits to Become a Wave

Theory of the day: We can never achieve true freedom unless we are on our own and unobserved…..and maybe never because we are always self-observing (even our thoughts).

Behind the theory;

The Double Slit Experiment:

A screen with two slits was placed in a room, with an electron gun on one side, and another screen on the other side to catch the electrons coming through the slits of the initial screen. The electron gun was fired, and when observed, the electrons created a two slit pattern (as expected), as seen below;

The electrons behave just as normal particles are expected to behave, creating two lines of electrons that passed through the screen.

The really curious thing happened when the experiment was conducted again unobserved. The electrons behaved differently and presented a different pattern on the second screen. They behaved like a wave as seen in the images below;

There are many similar theories that exist that say that particles, electrons, and everything else we physically see behave differently when unobserved.

Note: By observation here I mean observation by humans, by either placing a camera in the room to record the event, or have some sort of screen that allows scientists to observe the experiment.

When observed, I think, we all behave just a bit differently, our conduct, our action, everything. Even when we are on our own, but we believe we are observed or could be observed. We behave differently than when we know we no one can see us, but even then we are still conscious enough of the small possibility of someone seeing us.

So if we assume that we behave like the electrons fired through the gun ( as we are made of particles and electrons), then can we assume that we do not know our own true state of freedom until we are completely on our own and unobserved?

Now given that we are talking about a personal degree of freedom, even when we are completely on our own in a physical space. Does our personal observation of ourselves, our physical entity, our thoughts, our emotions,  at any given point still have an effect on our own personal degree of freedom? I think the answer is yes because even when we are on our own (which I assume any reader is at least in the toilet when home alone), our particles still do not behave differently.

But what happens when we stop observing anything, when we stop observing our physical entity, stop observing our own thoughts, neutralize emotion. Do our particles then start behaving differently?

Thought while typing this thought:

Meditation. Maybe it does have some sort of effect on internal balance, and personal freedom. Because assuming meditation is just closing your eyes and clearing your mind (the tough bit). Then we can assume that to some degree we stop observing what is around us, ourselves, or even our thoughts. The clarity of it will give our own particles or existence to be in a more natural state for some time. A truer degree of freedom, and thus you come out a bit more relaxed, and in balance.

Amino – Acids

So my friend told me that that the oldest meteorite found on earth has traces of Amino acids and that only 30% of the compounds we are made off are found on earth. So two things come to mind.

First Theory:

Imagine there was a planet that had amino acids on it, it might have been in some sort of frozen state, and thus the amino acids were not able to react with anything and evolve. Some sort of crash happens, and it sends pieces of that planet flying into space, becoming meteorites with amino acids. Those meteorites then crash into multiple planets.

So humans and life on earth only formed because of a random amino-acid meteorite hit the earth.

Now, given that this meteorite has hit multiple planets, amino acids could have evolved in different ways, on different planets, under different conditions. Thus, we can be only one version of the evolution of amino acids.

Second Theory:

Humans are a parasitic species that invade different planets and grow into this mass culture. The idea is that we are transported as amino-acids to different planets, where the amino acids can evolve and grow, till they completely take over the planet. They would either need to amass enough population for the “mother planet” to reap it’s “newest” breed/population/ citizens. Or we become enough technologically advanced to reach back to the “mother planet” with all the knowledge we collect on the way there. Or lastly, we destroy planets, and thus it is a way for the amino acid species to make sure no other species are able to evolve on these planets.

God, Physics, & Your Significance

I believe in God. Not religion. But God, or a higher power, or a higher form of energy. There is no way we exist in such simple and limited form, and there is nothing with a more complex conscious. Yes, I know, it doesn’t make it God. But I will present my two theories (joined at the end) if you keep reading.

First Theory – The Existence of Higher form of Energy:

Think about the amount of energy you have as a single individual. Now combine that with everyone else in the world, now with earth, the moon, and our entire solar system. All that is not even a speck of dust of energy in comparison to the universe. Now, think of all the energy in the universe, the amount of it and combine It together.

There are two basic laws of physics which the world abides by (as to our current knowledge)

  • You can neither create nor destroy energy
  • For every action, there is a reaction

Now if I am to think of all the amount of energy that is there, to me, it would mean that there must have been a really big initial action to cause our universe as a reaction. Something with a tremendous amount of energy caused this as a reaction. If you say “the big bang theory” well then, in order for the big bang to actually happen, all the gas that existed in space (which caused the bang), would have to have been formed due to another action, as gas itself is a form of energy, and it would not have popped out of nowhere.

Furthermore, we need to keep in mind that this reaction has caused us humans to exist, with our little insignificant conscious. The fact that our consciousness exists would lead to a definite possibility that other types of consciousness exist, more complex and advanced. And thus whatever initial form of energy which caused this universe as a reaction would have a conscious, and a much bigger one than ours.

This does not adversely mean that God in the sense of religion exists. It does not mean that there is a form of energy judging you for “good” or “bad” deeds. It just means that something outside of our conscious and realm exists.

Second Theory – Your Significance:

To start off, if we were to attempt to measure your significance. Assuming infinite space & time, you are completely insignificant. Because if I were to divide your total time-span on earth over infinity it equals null. Even the space you take divided by infinity is null. Thus, according to infinite space and time, you are insignificant. But….

Imagine yourself on a train (car/plane), you have your headset on, and just moving past villages and meadows. You don’t really feel time pass by, you observe as things and objects pass by, but in reality. You are not conscious of the amount of time passing by.

Now, think of yourself outside of the train, passing by. You are observing it. You feel that time is passing by as the train is moving through the distance in front of you. When you are sitting down with friends, you feel that time is passing by.

Now leave that thought there. And let us look at a bigger picture (this is going to get a bit complicated)

Think of space-time continuum. Where the x-axis is time, and y-axis is space. As seen below,

Now, if we were just going through time, living our life span, and just moving along the space-time continuum. We shouldn’t be able to feel time pass by. Nevertheless, if you were sitting in a room, doing absolutely nothing. You still have a feeling that time is passing by as you are sitting there, you don’t know how much, but you have a general feeling that time is passing.

If there is a part of you that is conscious to time-passing by as you are going through time itself, that implies that a part of you (I will refer to as the soul), exists outside of the time-space continuum, observing yourself pass through time.

The fact that there is something outside of the space-time continuum, that means that it is finite and not infinite. Which means that if I were to try to calculate your significance again,  I am not dividing your life span or space by infinity. But by a finite number, which means that you are 0.0000000000000000000…………….00000000000000001 of significance.

Further Thoughts:

To me, I believe that God or the Higher form of Energy, or Consciousness is some sort of pure being. It is both good and bad, it is both positive and negative. It is the equilibrium of all. We, our cells, our creations, the land we step on, the air we breathe, the table we put our coffee mug on. We are all made out of the same particles, our atoms are just arranged differently, giving us different qualities and specifications. Our soul is connected to all, as it is part of all, part of God, pure in its sense. But stuck in this physical realm.

Just remember. You are part of everything. And Everything is a part of you. You are part of God, as God is your existence. Keep it simple.

Change is the Only Constant

I will repeat

Change is the only constant!

In our world & in our Lives.

No matter what we do, no matter who we are. Tomorrow will come, and everything with it. (Babies, tides, wind, death, catastrophes, love, hate…), all of it.  Tomorrow will come, today will end, and the past will never be again, or never the exact same.

We are in constant change; our cells are regenerating as you are reading this. You probably took 5 breaths as well, changed the oxygen within you. The sun has set a bit more, and will end this cycle without ever repeating it again. It will go onto its next cycle.

Change is the only constant!

No matter what.

Then what?

Well, its both comforting & unsettling to know that everything will change, or end, as new things are formed & born. The perfect moment will end, but also time will reduce the pain you feel right now. It works both ways.

Accepting constant change will help. For example;

Never take things for granted, as it can all fade away. This includes relationships, jobs, routines, your body, skin, and everything else. Even the air you breathe, and the nature in front of you will change. Always remember to appreciate what you have. Take it all in.

No matter how bad it is, there is still tomorrow. If you cannot do anything now. Try again tomorrow. If it is unbearable now, tomorrow will come anyways. And some good sleep will at least change your mood for tomorrow. Your body will give you a small push to continue to the next day. Always trust that whatever you are going through will end. If it won’t, then you can change it. Remove it completely. Change is the only possibility.

If you are conscious about your decisions, specific to your goals, change is inevitable. Even if it is not always what you imagined it to be exactly, but you can change things towards what you want to be. Trust me, change will come whether you like it or not.

Change does not happen abruptly, and it is affected by a lot of factors, some of which we know, so of which we don’t. If you keep concentrating on the little things which you can do, the little things which you can change. The things that you want to do, and believe will get you to where you want. That is much more than doing absolutely nothing, and letting change drift you along an unknown cycle.
